Factory Visits and Pumpkin Seeds

It's been a busy few weeks at Lazarus Polymers. The delivery phase of our polymers recovery facility is well underway, and we are already thinking about mobilisation for commissioning and operations in June.

This week, we visited IBS Paper Performance Group (www.ibs-ppg.com) in Berger, Austria.

We were there to see the first components of our polymer separation technology being machined in the IBS factory.

The IBS fabrication facility is impressive,

and their wide range of precision engineering capabilities left us confident that our polymer separator

(fondly known as the "Kneader") will be a very capable machine, indeed!

...and what of the pumpkin seeds?

We learned a bit about the Austrian region of Styria during the visit. Not only is it home to the Red Bull Ring racing circuit, but it is famed for its pumpkins!

Everything from salad dressing to ice cream is made using the dark green (delicious) nutty oil pressed from the local pumpkin seeds. Gavin is a fan...

A busy, but successful, week for Lazarus Polymers!
